“Fascinating” is too little when talking about the half marathon. Right from the start, it challenges the strength of the runner: the climb on the Seklar’s Rock, a steep climb, through the groove that splits the limestone giat in two, a former refugee for the villagers during the Tatar siege in the 13th century. The path will guide you above the white houses village, passing by the medieeval fortress in Colțești, then on the Creasta de Cocoș from where you will have the most spectacular view over Colții Trascăului. From here on, the forest will shelter you, running through the tall trees, on the rocky ground, passing through a small stream, going around the Ardașcheia mountain to enjoy the calm, meet us back in Rimetea and have a gulyas together. It is a fast course which wonțt allow you to relax much. A technical runner will be delighted with the three steep climbs. A flat runner, will for sure have his chance to leave his opponents in the dust.
